Superb conditioned portrait by Charles Octavius Cole (1814 - 1858) of Newburyport, MA, New Orleans, LA and Maine of an Industrial Merchant or Sea Captain. The sitter is unknown. The artist has captured the facial features wonderfully. Frame has been replaced.
